The A&D series develops circularly as a path that joins light and darkness in a sinusoidal way.
It is a gloomy path, in which the light resurfaces only for faint moments, and which reflects the most hidden spiritual aspects of the inner soul. The Defeated Devil represents the end, but also the beginning, like a circle. His defeat depends on the eternal struggle with the light, with the Apollonian, idealistic embrace, where light and darkness finally recognize each other as one thing. Here, in the middle, the Devil winds his way up to the most Mephistophelean acumen until he reaches salvation with the illumination of the inmost light.
This is the circle of the soul and this, is the circle of life in its each own aspect
